No proof Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients
For dough:
-
250 g flour
-
1 tbsp sugar
-
1 tsp baking powder
-
120 ml milk
-
40 g butter (melted)
For filling:
-
30 g butter (softened)
-
3 tbsp of brown sugar
-
1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C)
2. In a large bowl, use a whisk, spoon, or electric mixer to gently combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, milk, and melted butter until you have a smooth, soft dough.
3. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough out into a rectangle. Spread a thin layer of butter over the top, then generously sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, making sure to cover the surface evenly.
4. Starting from the long side, roll the dough tightly into a log. Using a sharp knife, slice it into 6–8 even rolls.
5. Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until they turn a beautiful golden color and your kitchen smells amazing.
6. If you’d like, drizzle the warm rolls with a simple icing made from powdered sugar and a splash of milk for an extra touch of sweetness (just mix it in a small bowl).
